Phlebotomy

Covers all the skills a certified Phlebotomy tech needs, including venipuncture, safety and biohazards. Prepares you for the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) exam. Skill labs include a minimum of 40 live draws. ICTC will also schedule you for 8 to 16 hours of clinical time in area hospital labs and medical facilities. If you currently work at a healthcare facility, you may also be approved to complete live draws on the job at your employer's facility.
For the AMCA certification exam, ICTC charges a $25 exam proctor fee, which is included. AMCA will charge $109 for the national certification exam, which you will pay directly to AMCA and isn't included in the cost listed here. You will receive study guides, a practice app and more.

Long-Term Care Nurse Aide (LTCNA) - Day

Our 80 hour class teaches you direct care skills needed to work in a variety of settings (nursing homes, hospitals, and assisted living facilites). It is a competency -based program that prepares you for the CNA certification exam. Pharmacy Tech | Blended

Our 123 hour class is a combination of online and in-person learning. The first and last class along with 3 Saturdays will require attendance in person at the Muskogee Campus.
It is designed to provide you knowledge about the skills expected of pharmacy technicians. You will learn history, terminology, laws & standards of the profession. Additionally, you will learn how to classify drugs, calculate conversions, differenitiate between types of medications, & prepare for the PTCB certification exam. CPR for Healthcare Providers-American Heart Association

Medication Administration Tech (MAT)
with April Floyd

Required for all group homes and residential care employees who administer or monitor medicines. Must have a current CNA license to take this class.
Emergency Medical Tech (EMT Certification)

An application must be filled out for this class, these applications are available at the ICTC campus in the ACD Department or email belinda.hopkins@ictech.edu. You must turn in the application along with all the supporting documents : copy of current driver's license or government ID, we have to verify your SS # from the card itself, a TB Skin test-negative result, immunization record showing 2 Hep B, 2 Varicella, 2 MMR is required and high school diploma/GED/college transcript. We cannot accept any applications without all the supporting documents. No email applications will be accepted. Class is 252 hours total
