Our class is for a beginner who wants to learn how to thread the machine and wind a bobbin, as well as gain a basic understanding of how the machine works.  This is the second class in the 3 part series.  If you missed the first class, you are sure to catch up, so sign-up.  Ms.  Maggie will teach you how to select the appropriate material for your sewing project, while showing you how to read, cut, and pin the fabric using a simple pattern.  You will practice sewing on buttons, replacing zippers, hemming and other alterations.  Come discover the joy of sewing by creating one garment and a few gifts along the way.

Required:  All students must bring their own sewing machine.  The instructor will contact you prior to the start of class to let you know what else you will need for class.

Our 80 hour class teaches you direct care skills needed to work in a variety of settings (nursing homes, hospitals, and assisted living facilites). It is a competency -based program that prepares you for the CNA certification exam. Requirements: 100% attendance, background check, proof of TB skin test, government photo ID and social security card. Exam cost included. Discover the ancient art of stained glass design and construction in this beginner-friendly class. Begin your experience in stained glass by choosing your own glass for a large fleur-de-lies design.  You will learn, cutting, grinding and shaping, foiling and saudering.  No experience is required.  You will be asked to bring your own purchased glass to the first class.  Information will be sent by the instructor prior to the first class.   

This advanced Excel class is designed for users with a solid understanding of basic Excel functions, empowering them to master things like advanced data analysis, manipulation, and visualization techniques, ultimately boosting their efficiency and analytical capabilities.
